No signal? No problem. PinPoint works 100% offline. You can log games, add balls, and edit your arsenal. Changes will automatically sync when you get back online.

Surface Maintenance
What is it?
Over time, your bowling ball's surface gets smoothed out by the lane, losing its hook potential. "Surface" refers to sanding the ball with abrasive pads (e.g., Abralon) to restore its roughness.
RECOMMENDED INTERVAL
Every 3 - 9 Games
PinPoint alerts you after 9 games to remind you to refresh your surface.
Detox / Oil Extraction
What is it?
Reactive resin balls absorb oil like a sponge. Eventually, they get "full" and stop reacting effectively. A "Detox" or "Bake" uses heat or ultrasonic waves to bleed this oil out.
RECOMMENDED INTERVAL
Every 30 - 60 Games
PinPoint alerts you after 50 games to consider a deep clean.
The Line
Logging your "Line" helps you remember where you played on the lane.
STAND
Where you place your feet on the approach (Board #).
TARGET
What arrow or board you aim for on the lane.
Oil Patterns
House Shot
Standard league pattern. Forgiving, with more oil in the middle and less on the outside (creating a "wall").
Sport / Challenge
Flatter, tougher patterns used in tournaments. Requires higher accuracy.
Pro Stats
POCKET HIT %
How often your ball hits the 1-3 pocket (Righty) or 1-2 (Lefty). This tracks consistency even if you don't strike.
CLEAN GAME
A game with NO open frames (every frame is a Strike or Spare).
Ball Status
Active vs. Retired
If you sell or stop using a ball, you can "Delete" it to move it to Retired. It stays in your history stats but hides from your daily bag.
